Dearest W312. I received a word from GOd, and I feel that God wants me to share with you guys.
scenario: I eat the same particular stall, same particular noodle everyday. I refused to eat the other stalls, other types of food. Not knowing that the other food available might be even tasitier.
Are we like that in our christianity walk with God? We hang on to what we like, refusing to go to ''the food available'' which might be ''tasitier''. Friends we might like our past alot. But God is a God of new things. We can't stay put to our ''tasty noodle'' in life! God can't move if we don't move! Just like you want eat the same thing everyday, nobody can stop you from doing that unless you're willing to try other food! friends,New year new things! God don't want you to dwell in the past mistakes anymore. By the blood of Christ that has been shed 2000 years ago, your sins are FORGIVEN. Let this year be the year that you do greater things for God! But always remember, no matter what trials you face, OUR GOD is MORE THAN ENOUGH:) jiayou!

I been pass through this too i witness a live suicide man ): A boy just committed suicide right in front of my eyes.. with me passing through the same area... and dealing with the fact that my grandma pass away few hr later... a terrible blow for me. I still having nightmare after that day even till nw.. Everytime I'm reach home late the image of the boy will begin to surface in my mind.. But Everytime this happen I would pray put my trust in him (: and god would begin to calm me now. This apply to u too Yee Leng (: Trust him (:

A fireplace in the winter

Hey guys, this is the first revelation I’m going to share in this blog. Let’s all make effort to keep this blog alive and growing ok? We are supposed to have rivers of living waters flowing from us, so let’s refresh one another instead of being a dead sea that is unfruitful =).

God gave me a picture followed by an interpretation of what out reaching is all about! I believe this message is timely for this season of outreaching. Hope u guys will be blessed by it.

I saw a picture of the interior of a living room. In this house, there is a fireplace with glowing burning fire. It is winter time and the people in the house are enjoying the warmth of the fire burning at the fireplace. What a cosy place!

However, outside the house is a different picture. The streets are covered with snow, the temperature is freezing cold and people in the streets (outside the house) have to wear many layers of thick clothing to fight against the cold. These people are looking for a place with fire to keep themselves warm. Some of them peep through the windows - they saw the fireplace in the house but didn’t dare to get inside the house, thus walked away. Some of them came to ask the owner if they can come in. If the owner is kind and loving, he/she would welcome these people into the house and share the fire together. However, if the owner is mean and selfish, he/she would turn these people away and just keep the fire to himself/herself. If the owner is thoughtful, he/she would personally lead these people to the fireplace and made them feel comfortable , otherwise, he/she may just leave them alone and continue to do his/her own stuff.

Here’s the interpretation:

-Winter represents cold and darkness. The world that the lost are living in. · The house offers a place of protection and refuge in the midst of the cold. This is the house of God (can be cell groups, churches etc).

-The fireplace represents the meeting with God. Like the burning bush where Moses met God. The fireplace in the house is where we are strengthened, warmed and empowered.

-The people in the house are we, Christians. We are in the house, protected and warmed by the fire. We enjoy the fullness of the heat from the fireplace. We are happy and make merry.

-The people outside the house are the LOST! These people are ‘suffering’ in the cold. They are trying to find shelter to seek refuge. There are many places but they don’t know exactly where to go.

1. They may ignore the house and continue walking, seeking a suitable place. These are the people seeking for truth, the real GOD but they don’t know where to find this God.

2. They may come to the window and peek inside the house. After peeking into the house, they walk away because they feel uncomfortable about joining those inside the house. These are people who visited church or try to attend a church/cell group but left because of some unhappy experiences caused by what they see, hear or feel.

3. They may also walk to the door, pressed the door bell and asked the owner for permission to join them for a hiding place and then enjoy the fireplace. However, this requires courage for them to seek permission into a foreign place because at this point, they are still strangers to the owners. These are like new friends who decide to join u for cell groups and services after they witness how our lives have been as Christians in the house of God.

Therefore, as the owners of the house, we can either react coldly to the visitors, rejecting them directly, indirectly or we can choose to welcome them with an open heart!

1. When the lost come to us, we may ‘turn them away’ directly when we keep talking about flaky and religious stuff that they don’t understand. This is why many people have wrong ideas about Christianity e.g. some Christians told non-believers in the face that ‘You guys will go to hell but we will go heaven’….I mean, come one, if we behave like this, then of course, you will scare away the unbelievers who are all potential souls!!!

2. We can also turn them away indirectly by our nasty remarks, our judgment upon them based on their outward appearances etc. Thus, they will leave this HOUSE and proceed to find another that will accept them and it is very unlikely that they will come back again!

Note: The above two groups of people haven’t even ENTER the house, not to mention to be at the fireplace to experience God. But they are already frightened off by the owners of the house! Many times, people don’t want to come church is not because they don’t want to experience God…it’s because we are ‘stopping’ them in one way or another! Woah! Talk about reaching out but yet, we really need to reflect on our actions and behaviors!

3. Some people may also manage to come into the house successfully, but as soon as they got in, the owners of the house left them alone and went to do their own stuff. The visitors are being left alone. They may not be able to find the fireplace or they may think that it is rude to go near the fireplace so they are satisfied to just stand around the door. These are like new friends who joined us a few times, they may have witnessed the power of God, sensed His presence in our midst but we left them hanging there!! They don’t know where they are going; they don’t know what they are supposed to do. They may see us enjoying the fire of God burning in our lives but they are unsure to draw near or remain where they are. Therefore, our role is to guide them.

4. The last scenario here is that the owners welcome them warmly, covered them with coats and personally bring them to the fireplace. This means that we help the new friends to be integrated in the cell groups, churches but more than that, we guide them into the presence of God – where they also catch the fire of live that can sustain them!

Friends, I pray that all of us can be like the owners that help to lead the cold to the fire that gives warm. When we lead the younger members/new friends step by step closer to God, I’m sure you will feel the joy and comfort when you see how they enjoy the FIRE like we do =) Whether is it Christmas or not, whether they are new friends, backsliders or non-believers, Let us direct them from the cold world to the warmth of God =)

well.. juz had a thought tat flash thru my mind.. guess its a revelation ba.. haha.. its in e title of tis post..

we say tat our body is e temple of e Holy Spirit.. it rest, dwells n work in us.. bt how many ppl realise tat kiping our body clean n healthy isnt not juz for e Holy Spirit? its actually for our destiny..

does God mind tat we didnt take care of our body, be it internal or exterior? YES HE MINDS!

cos he want us to fulfill our destiny! be it wherever u are gg to b planted.. definitely u nid to look gd(exterior). n kipping healthy ensure u to last thru tis marathon w God(internal)! definitely u wouldnt wan to fall sick during christmas or even easter.? cos u'll miss e big event n outreaches to ur fren n families!

well.. not juz onli tis.. it oso make sure u hv a high self-esteem.. tis give u a confident look n attitude too!

advice for those who fall sicks easily:
plz.. hv a water bottle w u thru out e whole day! drink at least 2litres of PLAIN water daily!(if u can drink more, plz drink more) *before u slp, drink 250ml of water. aft u wait up, drink another 250ml of water b4 u eat breakfast.

therefore.. let's work on ourselves n prepare for this christmas!

God says that to b faithful u oso muz pray in e Holy Spirit.. prayer is one of ur base/foundation to b strong in e Lord. of cos, ur prayer muz b of faith as well!

dont tink tat prayer doesnt work.. it works in every way:

be it u are sick or troubled, juz pray.. n in v15, God will raise him up n ans his prayer! its is oso stated in Eph6: 18.
God gave His confirmation in v16(b) - e prayer of a righteous man is powerful n effective!

Luke 11 - tis is a teaching personally frm Jesus himself.. bt onli 1 point i hv to say, v8 - "yet because of e BOLDNESS of his fren ... ..."

~Christian Theology. the trust in God and in His promises as made through Christ and the Scriptures by which humans are justified or saved.

faith is require aniwhr we go in e world.. in wat eva tings we do.. y? becos we wan to fulfill our destiny frm God! (we're following Holy Spirit's guidence in our everyday lives)

can Holy Spirit can b seen? NO! den how r we walking w Him? thru FAITH!! the TRUST in God!

it says He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.
As u see this verse, it will remind you of the things happen in Philippines, Padang and other countries. The typhoon in Taiwan, the earthquake in Philippines and other things happen in other countries. But remember God will not forsake us and He will NEVER forget His promises to us. Let us continue to have FAITH in Him, even if we become faithless He is always FAITHFUL. Let us be FAITHFUL to Him. Anyway here's a ques: Do we have CONFIDENT when all these happen to us?
the answer is: YES! Why? Cauz old order things has passed away. All these things will pass away but God will nvr pass away and His Word will never pass away. As a Christian, we can have Eternal Life but how do we have that? Not everybody is given this ETERNAL LIFE. God wants us to have ETERNAL LIFE is that He wants us to obey His commandments so that we can have the ETERNAL LIFE. So let us OBEY His commandments and let us not behave rebelious towards Him.
Continue to ♥ God more and ♥ People fervently.
Jesus lay down his live for us, and why not we lay down our lives for others to help them?
Let us show the Love that Jesus has given to us to others. Care for the people who needs help. Love the people who needs love. Let us be the 1 to impact other people lives and draw them to our God and Saviour.

We've the 3Rs on earth. You know, reuse, reduce and recycle? Yeah, that night during my qt, I realised that with our walk with Christ there is also the 2Rs which is more important than that previous 3Rs I mentioned. He is our Redeemer and our Refuge .

Redeemer;

Jesus Christ is our Redeemer. His blood redeems our sins. Ephesians 1:7-8 "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding." Why is redemption needed? It is because we human, sin! It is for the blood of Christ that our sins have been washed away. Sin is basically like human selfishness. Psalms 103:4 "who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion" Then, we can be sin-free and lead a Christ-liked life (: Even though He who redeems us already have cleared our sins, but humans will be humans. We will fall back to temptation and then sin again. Thats when we must remember to REPENT.

Refuge;

He is our tower of refuge! Like some of the worship songs we sing such as " our tower of refuge..." "a refuge for my soul.." He will be there for us at times when its bad, even when its good He will always be there. Psalms 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Yes, He will be there to help us, He will be a tower that never collapse! Psalms 91:2 "I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust" Yes, trust in Him with all your heart! Lean your ladder towards Him. Go to Him when there's area of doubt, go to Him when you feel like the whole world is against you, because He is for you. He will never reject you, He will welcome you with open arms.

" y in verse 26 mentioned disciples.. bt yet in verse 27 aft Jesus performed e miracles it is still saying e MEN marveled .. ? wat i feel is tat His disciples at tat point in tym does not hv much faith in Him..

Mark 13:11 (NIV) "Do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit."

I feel that this verse is really very meaningful and it can be applied to real life situation. We just had our prayer conference and wow today I felt the strong presence of God in our midst. For the first time, five of us were praying together! And it was really powerful, if two or three gather together is power, four and more is powerful. Yeah, like what yl has said just now. Let us be led in the Holy Spirit, and not pray by what we want to say. Like for example, don't keep thinking : "oh i must pray for this during pc later, i must remember to pray for that" or bombard those machiam chim words and soon you will realize that you are far too focus on what you feel like praying and making the prayer sound so perfect until you don't welcome the Holy Spirit to lead you to pray. I am not saying that we cannot pray for what we want to pray for, we can. But at the same time we need to let the Holy Spirit fill us and let us have a relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Prayers are to be led by the Holy Spirit for He is the one who prays through us, for us and for others (quoted by Ps Phil Pringle)

Romans 8:26 "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express."

That was taken from the book that I've been reading. But that is how I feel, like when we pray, there shouldn't be a constraint and we shouldn't fear of the Holy Spirit to lead us. And instead let Him be the one leading you wholeheartedly in the prayer ,let Him be the One who intercedes for us with God. And to your surprise, you will be praying for things that you've never thought you would be praying for, or about other area of concerns which you think wouldn't affect or bother you much. Take me for example, I will always pray for the bigger picture and I will leave the smaller pictures at the back thinking they have nothing to do with how I am feeling. But one day, I was praying for breakthrough with parental objection as usual. Then suddenly I was praying even for the smallest thing like time management. I have never prayed about time when I am praying for breakthrough against my parental objection. Like usually I will just pray for open hearts and for my parents to let me go to church in peace and for them to stop nagging and nagging. I knew time was a concern, but I didn't know the weight-age of time was so impactful. And after that night that I prayed exactly what the Spirit has told me to, there was indeed a breakthrough. My mother said she will allow me to go church given the condition that I reach home before 1130 (which is now extended to 12mn, but we should not take things for granted) the next day. As I told yl about this, she said : "wow, this is what we have been praying for, for months and finally the breakthrough is here. Our God is a good God. We should be thankful for the little things. We want to go serivce but above that, God make a way for fellowship. How cool is that? Amen"

See friends, that is the power of the Holy Spirit. We will not know until we truly experience it! So lets not be afraid of the Holy Spirit and instead invite Him again into our lives if you feel that you already have lost the connection with Him.

GOD is very serious with soul winning as time is limited for our physical body where people do die due to sickness and living in a old broken body.

GOD is saying that GOD do not like unfruitful life and will cut down and throw away. How to determine how fruitful you are in evangelism is how many souls you have 'saved' (brought them to church and integrate them )
from verse 8 to 9
is saying that there is a solution which is uproot and fertilize(changing of mindset)fertilizer are 1.prayer, 2.fasting(1 and 2 are faith)3.counseling ,4.discipleship 5. stepping out (3 ,4 and 5 are works)
3 and 4 is learning from leader approaching the leader yourself and not waiting for the leader to approach you and 5 is self experience which you take the steps yourself (getting out of your comfort zone when you begin to talk to the new friends, reaching out to your friends.

faith is very important where is the the foundation of evangelism but the second step is work which is the building. without foundation if a building is build upon the building will crash. but if there is foundation but there is no building what is the purpose of it ?

Above are some of the definition of passion. What to you is the suitable one? Do you have a thing or someone that you have passion for? For me, my passion is handball. Handball is a sport whereby I can vent my anger and frustration on physically. If you all didn't know, I recently took part in the selections for YOG National Youth Squad. I trained really hard for it just to get into the team. But on that very tuesday night, I receive the letter saying I am not selected into the team. I was upset of course. I was disappointed that after all I've been training for, thats what I got. What made things worst was that instead of encouraging me, my dad was demoralizing me saying things like "its good that you fail", "you this kind of people, sure wont make it" it really tore me, I couldn't care much about the results of the selection and instead its how my dad perceive me as that crushed me. But friends have been encouraging me not to give up and continue striving for it since its my passion! I shouldn't just stop halfway just because I met up with a few obstacles in my life.

And that reminded me of how we have a passion for Christ, our journey with God. We cannot give up our walk with God or stop halfway just because devil tried to stop us or even do things that make us feel anger towards God. But instead we should put that all aside and cast out the evil or bad thoughts caused by the devil. And continue burning the fire for God because our God is a good God! How can we proclaim that we have the passion for God unless the passion consumes us? For example, how can I say I have the passion for handball if I don't even attend the regular training? Its the same for us Christians. How can we have the passion for God if we don't even go to church, if we don't give our tithes or offerings? A passion for God can only occur when our heart is purely devoted to God and Jesus's purposes. James 4:8 (NIV)- "Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your heart, you double minded" We cannot have a passion for God if on one hand we are paying our tithes and going to church, but on the other hand lusting for sexual immoralities, having anger towards other fellow brothers and sisters? That isn't what God wants us to do, or want us to behave like. Like what Jo shared for CG on 21 August, we have to keep that in mind and be more like God.

So friends, if you feel that the passion that you have with God is burning out, its fading slowly. Do open up to anyone of the cg members and we will be more than happy to pray for you :D

Guys when you face problem again lets trust in the Lord and ask for His help or opinion.
First Pray to Him, lift up you problem to Him,then ask for His help. And remember to thank Him.
He also says that He will make your path straight when we acknowledge Him.
In NKJV, " ..,And he shall direct your paths."
